1. Bookings & Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days. A booking is confirmed once a deposit is paid or written confirmation is exchanged. Fixed quotes cover the work described at the time of quoting; significant changes (extra items, changed addresses, access issues not disclosed) may adjust the price, agreed with you before work continues.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your booking. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a charge of up to 50% of the booked price.

3. Our Responsibilities

We will arrive within the agreed window, handle your belongings with professional care, and carry goods-in-transit insurance up to £50,000 plus £5 million public liability cover on every job.

4. Your Responsibilities

Please ensure accurate details of items and access (stairs, parking, restrictions), that fragile items are declared, and that boxes you pack yourself are securely sealed. Parking permits, where required, are the customer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

5. Items We Cannot Move

We cannot transport hazardous materials, perishable food, live animals, or items of exceptional undeclared value. Please ask if you're unsure about a specific item.

6. Claims

In the unlikely event of damage, notify us within 48 hours of your move at info@easymovings.co.uk with photos. Claims are handled within 14 days under our insurance policy terms.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise. We accept card, bank transfer and cash. Late payments may incur statutory interest.
